    i got out in the sun today, the funny thing is, my macro lens is a 2.8 so i really don't need the light.
    i don't know what kind of plant this is, but i asked someone to ID it and he is looking. i applied a yellow filter to this picture because everything is that sickening gray green at this time of year. the flowers are, of course, white.

    Hi Mike,
    I like the composition on this one. For my taste, I would go vertical on this one. The exposure is good and I like the black background. good job...:cool:

    This is one of those instances where dark works. I, too, would go for a vertical crop giving it a little more room at the top and bottom.

    I would like to see more room on top and bottom and crop the sides. Good work on the exposure.

    Glad you hear you got the ID Mike !!!!

    The light makes this image interesting for me I think having the front row sharp would improve the image.
