An image such as this does make you wonder what has captured the bears attention.. I like the pose of the bear and with the grass hanging out of the bears mouth you know his feeding was interupted. I'm sure its just the topography but the diagonal line of the treeline seems to make the image unbalanced. As far as composition I might like the bear a bit further left in the frame to give him more of the frame on the right to look into...

Although you don't see its face this image tells a story (another bear perhaps?) which intrigues. I like this one.
