I watched this tiger for a long time. He was resting in the open. Then he got up, yawned and stretched before moving into the grassland.
Shot with Canon EOS 40D, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, EF 1.4xII, at 560 mm, ISO 200, f5.6, 1/800, full frame.
Processed this in Lightroom 2 Beta. The morning light was soft. I increased the contrast to medium. No other tweaking except for ticking the output sharpening option while saving the file. Do you guys increase the contrast in early morning or evening light?

Tigers are always splendid to look at and seeing one in the wild is really much impressing! But what a magical moment you should have live seeing that great cat in the willd!
