    Default Crystal Ball

Meet Miss Wanda. Wanda is my enchanted lily from the garden. As you can see, she has a magical flair for predicting the future, especially predicting the weather with her crystal ball. She is painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 macro lens.

Image solution: focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / metering mode - combination of in camera matrix metering, and spot metered three different points with hand held meter for optimal light balance. / 1/250sec. - f/2.8 / exposure comp @ -1.7EV / ISO @ 200 / white balance @ cloudy / AF Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / lighting solution - speedlight on floor pointed @ 90 degree angle with defuser, powered down to 1/4 lumin burst on manual mode; complimented by a 36" soft box and a 24" gold disk reflector to balance the lights and shadows. / support platform - tripod assist / cable trigger release /

    Comments greatly appreciated...

Gus, your photos are stunningly beautiful, and I know from the description that a lot of thought and work go into them.

Awesome Gus - You continue to amaze me with these shots. I do love the original.

I love the crystal ball section - here's a alternative crop with a bit of sharpening as well.

    :)

I think I've said this before my friend, but you've found your calling. Excellent composition and details.
    Congrats
