    Default Hand of Man

    Attached Images Attached Images

Bald Eagles doin' it on an Osprey platform.

    Nikon D2X
    Nikon 600 AF-S
    Aperture Priority @ 0 (was about 1/3 stop under-exposed).
    AF AF-C Dynamic
    1/1000s @ F5.6
    Matrix Metering
    ISO 200

I'm driving up highway 41(with camera next to me, of course)near Ruskin, Fl and I notice behavior that was out of the ordinary for Bald Eagles.
I stopped, but did not have time to set up my tripod. So I shot this hand held.

Awesome timing James and what an incredible moment to have captured. This is quite unusual is it not for then to have been using the ospreys nest ??

Cool shot, James! I bet the Osprey aren't too thrilled with it though!

    Kissimmee Jimmy,
It was about 2 months before the Osprey "get busy". So no upset Osprey.
Now the Eagles taking their fish is another issue!

Good job not only spotting the action.....but capturing it handheld as well . Those eagles were quite the opportunists in this case.......but then so were you!!!!!
