    Default tickles, tickle, tickles!

Hi everybody, today wanted to share this shot, I like the Egret's punk look because of the fly on her neck, my quiestion is, as the light was very harsh, I flashed it, I believe exp comp -2, as the whites are a bit borderline hot, should I have used a lower flash power, higher, more shutter speed or should I try to recover them with some levels and masks?

I am another Flash Dummy. :(

    Love the BG.
Cool bird - only thing I might change/repair is the eye - might re-align it as per the APTATS cd, but kinda like it how it is as well.
    I like.

Hi Ramon at the selected shutter speed you probably had zero light on the bird !!!

Your sync speed is 250 so at 500 you have half, at 1000 one fourth power.... you were down to over 20X less flash output !!!

For your compensation I would have gone with a more aggressive setting, probably full flash? With soft light you want to back down to -2 or more. Good idea to try these things for reference. I have worked with Chas Glatzer and been to his workshops on flash. They are eye openers.
