    I photographed this tonight at Ding Darling on Sanibel, Fl. Using my Sony A100, Sigma 50-500mm lens at 500mm f/6.3, 1/200,+0.3ev ISO400

    I think us Sony Alpha users need to stick together. We are outnumbered! Nice image. You were right to use +.3 EV, although even up to +1EV might have served you better, especially with the black head. Good detail and composition. The background is unusual, and I'm not sure why. Its like a smooth background with creases. I think the large whitish area might detract form the image. Overall, a good job in my humble opinion.~onlybill

    Overall pretty good. I think fill-flash would have done wonders to the blacks. The white spot should definitely be toned down

    Nice portrait. Adding to the other comments, I would sharpen the bird more and wish for more head turn toward you.
