    Hi Richard,
How are you buddy? I like your composition. I took the liberty in changing a few things, I hope you like...:D
I cropped from the bottom to get rid of the negative space. I increased the contrast, increased the hues, and gave you a sprinkle of sharpening...

I like the crop. I always question if I have too much contrast. Up for a nighttime shoot this week?

You pick it. We can do both if we have time. Either Monday or Tuesday.

Like Gus's repost - to me the whites look a bit hot or a bit to much contrast.

    Nice flower

I'm seeing the same thing as lance A bit hot and lots of contrast

These flowers will look the best with solid overcast or using a diffuser If you guys take turns holding the diffuser will be worth the effort !!! btw have also been trying polarizing filters to cut down glare if not using a diffuser !!!

i worked on it, but saved it too big:( wanted to repost. i toned down the whites and then brought the contrast down a bit. in the histogram, the blacks and whites were climbing the walls. the decrease in contrast corrected both!! i like gus' repost! in fact that's the one i worked on. good base image!!

Thanks everyone for the help. Harold if you could post it or send it to me at my email I'd love to see you finished product. My original post was not not blown on the highlights, but Gus did up the saturation and contrast.

a thought!! if you sharpened it before you posted it, that may have been what blew out the whites. it will change the exposure slightly when you sharpen!!
