    Default Yet another swallow flight image

    Having seen so many images of swallows in flight lately, I remembered my own attempts.
    This image was created the second day I got my 1D MkIIn last March. When I left the office after a hard days work I went to a local park to play with it. I wanted to try the AI-servo performance. It was getting dark fast, so I didn't have too much time. I used some Barn Swallows as my models and this is the best picture I managed to get that evening.

    1DMkIIn with 300 f/4L IS handheld
    1/1000, f/4, ISO 800, EV +1/3

    Comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated as always.

    I like the wing position and topside view in this one. The bird looks a bit dark, you could have dialed in more positive EC. Thanks for sharing!

    Love the dorsal view and he spread tail. Some SH/H on the face and then a contrast boost could likely improve it.
