    That's what this common loon chick seems to be thinking.

    A huge digital lesson on this image. First viewing the image in Breezebrowser Pro, I instantly deleted it-the whites were toast-hot-burnt to a crisp. But then I remembered about doing a combined Raw conversion so grabbed it from the recyle bin. This is the result. The RAW thumbnail image misled me into thinking it was totoally overexposed on the whites. Canon 300 F2.8 x 2 handheld kayak

    Jeff, could you expand a little bit more about the combined Raw convertion technique. ?

    What I know - a linear conversion vs. a normal conversion provides a flat underexposed-like file, saving highlights. You can do this plus a normal conversion and combine them. The Breezebrowser program offers a choice to do this for you in one file.
