This is an old image and I seem to have lost the exif data.....It was taken with one of the Canon Rebel cameras and I think the 100 macro lens. Background darkened in post-processing. I had to chuckle, as to get the image, I held the turtle up in the air and in all the images, his eyes are looking down. I doubt he'd ever been off the ground before, and wasn't too comfortable with it. Comments and suggestions welcome!

    Anita,

Love the detail! Neat image! On the eye, would have been better looking more at you, do bet it was a bit of a shock for the turt to be off the ground:-)

Seems a bit cramped to me,maybe a bit more space top?

Really nice Anita Just the little head turn for me Love the detail and saturation The dark bg works very well here Can't imagine what the little critter was thinking .... does have a strong look of concern !!!

btw for these I always try to have the prominent eye on the intersecting third if possible Does make for a strong composition !!!

    Hi Anita,
I like your image, you have nice colors and details..I would have liked to have Mr. turtle looking at the camera, and perhaps a tad more room on top...

Beautiful turtle portrait, Anita! You got such nice detail throughout and still got a good BG. Nice work!
