Tried to shoot locally this Spring and was able to add to my southern collection of small birds.
The Hooded Warblers and Swainson's overlapped some what in habitat, but both still needed to be close to water.
Great calling pose, details and exposure control. The BG is a bit busy. You can post images up to 800 pixels which makes it easier to comment. Keep them coming!
Way sharp on the face and a great singing pose. Let's see this at 800 pixels wide. In addition to the busy BKGR, the perch is too thick for the birdie.

I have seen that comment about thick branches before, and I understand the symmetry thoughts. This was a natural muscadine thick vine and he kept picking this one to sing. Background a minus not being smooth but shooting in swamps is tough.Thanks for comments and hopefully temps will moderate for shooting in the near future. Hate shooting in the 90s with high humidity !
