Nice off-center framing, though I think I might crop a little more off the left, so that the bird's wing is about as close to the left edge of the frame as its tail is to the bottom.

Try also color balancing the image away from yellow a bit. It's got a pretty strong yellow-green cast. Sometimes I try Photoshop's "Auto Color" feature just to see what it does, and it gives me ideas.

Last but not least, here's a trick to try for making web images look really crisp: If you're going to post at 800 pixels, while you're preparing the image downsize it to double that - 1600 pixels - then oversharpen it a bit, then downsize to 800 pixels. This could help serve to bring out the feather detail more.

Love the classic pose. Really sharp on tail, wings and back. Noel has added some excellent tips (Thanks Noel). Do the head and bill seem a bit pale or softer?,

    Hi Buddy,
I hope your day went well yesterday. I like the capture. my only nit is the head angle. I did some modifications to the image I hope you like. I added canvas on the bottom to give the tail more room, cropped from the left of frame to off set your subject, cloned out the diagonal branch, reconstructed the tail, boosted the contrast, just a tad, and sprinkled some sharpening...

love the pose - not sure about the HA in a shot like this. Agree with Gail - head and bill do seem softeror paler - think thats because of the direction of the light.
