Tried something different today while on vacation in the Olympic Penninsula. Tried a cokin filter/special effects. D300, cant access the details right now, just wondering what you all think of the filter actually. I didnt really do much PP, since I am on vacation, with laptop and very little time.:D
I would prefer that something be in focus - one of the trees or the foreground - but it does have a certain mood to it! Makes you want to walk right on in to the photograph!
Excellent mood Shellie. I like it very much. I have worked with this type of filter before, and you can get very creative...:) Just imagine the soft morning fog in the forest. This is the mood and feeling that I get when I see your image..Composition and exposure is dead on...good show and congrats for painting the unconventional in our limited conventional word...keep them coming...:D:cool:
Kudos for trying something new. This one does not work for me for several reasons:
1-the filter made things look muddy...
2-the part of the tree on the right frame edge.
3-the half tree on the frame edge (you needed to find a way to end have only green on each frame edge...)
