    I couldn't resist trying this, fabs makes it look so great. Unfortunately, it is much harder than it looks and I am not Fabs....

    Very nice Carole! I would suggest a little more sharpness on the colorful petals. I seem to see a little noise in the BG, which adds to the antique quality of the image. The noise is ok as is but you could try both smoothing it out and making it more grainy, just to see what it produces. I am thinking "contrast" contrast in color versus BW, contrast in smooth versus sharp, contrast in grainy versus sharp! These OOTB images are art, and art is in the eye of the beholder, so, the're all good!

    I agree with Dan about sharpening up the petals a bit but the BG is what's bothering me here. I wonder if you did a blur - maybe motion or radial blur to really dillute the individual sections of dark and light grey?

    Hey, this is cool, glad to see you trying new things! How sis you do this? History brush? The petals look great, agree on blurring the BG :)
