    Good detail in the blacks but some of the whites look borderlne hot...esp. the chick's near-wing. Love the chick's wing over the adult's bill but the chick's bill is on the wrong side... Bummer on that. Also a far less than ideal head angle on the little one...

    Hi Doug,

    A very intimate moment. Very nice low angle and exposure control. I don't mind the head angle. I would be happy just to witness this!

    Cute Cute Cute. I do agree that the whites look a tad hot. Yes, the beak on the chick would be better on the other side, but you had no control over that. What an opportunity to be there to see this and record it. You should be proud of this image.

    I like really like this shot - great opportunity for you. For me, the eye really helps - sometimes skimmer's eyes don't show very well.

    What a wonderful moment. Thanks for sharing. Love the intimacy between these two birds. :) Whites in parts do look a little on the hot side.
