    Taken while on vacation at Lake Quinault. Nikon D40X, 18-200mm at 18mm, ISO 100, 1/400, f5 , EV -2, no flash, AV mode on a tripod.:)

    I love how the sun is shining through that middle tree! I would think about cloning out that piece in the upper right corner - it doesn't really go to anything and is a bit distracting.

    Hi Shellie Next time you try one similar try bracketing the exposure Not sure how much more light you can have and still look good.

    Have not tried back lit IR images but will give them a try next time out. Maybe going with a high key bg will look interesting !!!
