    Default Vanilla Ice

Meet Vanessa, an exotic beauty from the tropics. Vanessa is a very sexy Lily, who's soft glowing pinkish lavender colors transforms into a sensual creamy Vanilla Ice...

Techs. Vanilla Ice is the product of a double exposure composed of two images. The first image was shot at 1/650sec. - f/5 using an ISO of 800. The secound image was shot at 1/250sec. - f/3.2 using an ISO of 250.

    focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / exposure comp @ -1.7EV /
    white balance @ cloudy / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degrees /
hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / light factor: no speedlight, used a 36" soft box with additional 36" defuser light panel in front. / support platform: tripod assist / cable trigger release /

Love the composition and the water drops but you really need to run noise reduction on this. Up in the right hand corner and along the bottom you've either got a fair amount of posterization going on or that is some heavy duty noise! Did you do a really big crop on this? If so, that might be the reason.

Another beautiful shot from you, Gus!

Question: What is the purpose of combining two exposures of different exposure settings, particularly with different ISOs?

nice compo and cool colors!! i see the posterization too. question: do you think it would be better if you cropped a bit off the right and bottom to eliminate that dead space in the lr corner? just a thought!
