    Hi Susan,
I have been to the area a few times and have not seen this presentation before. Compositionally this was handled very well but i feel the time of day is working against you. This appears to be mid morning.......and while I like the sun flare........it does draw my eye bit too much. You could have used a few ND filters here.......but the best option in this instance woud have been an HDR composite as the sun would have overpowered any filter combo (even mine!). This area is better in the afternoon......but you also get mixed lighting and many more tourists. I must admit that I think this is a very difficult church to photograph and considering that, you did pretty well.

I really like the angle on this one. I've photographed this church, but not from the same spot.
The sun was a killer this day, wasn't it. This would be a great place to shoot on one of those rare overcast days.

Roman and Gayle captured my comments well. HDR would be perfect here.
