    Here is another image I captured last month at Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.

    Canon ID Mark III, 100-400mm lens handheld, ISO 500, 1/400, f/5.6, +1 exp comp, AV mode.
    Levels, curves and selective sharpening in CS3.

    Comments welcomed and appreciated.

    Lori, I like this image with the sweet eye contact! On my CRT the grass is a bit hot - but I tend to go dark on most images - so I am not the best on that issue - I haven't captured any family portraits yet this season, see this will get me out more!! Bob

    A fine image here. Looks right on my monitor... You captured great eye highlights and the animals are looking into the frame..

    Beautiful image Lori. I just love the head position the eye contact and the soft light is just perfect!

    I am in between the previous posts about the tones. Its not too light but it could use a little more density. But I think that is a real fine point 99% of the public would say it is perfect the way it is.
