    Default Peregrine Falcon into a Dive



    Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
    hand held, natural light, 70% of full frame

    Nikon D300 ,Nikkor 200-400mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S VR
    1/640s f/4.0 at 400.0mm iso250

    A misty morning with lots of back light, I was able to climb the gorge barrier, and be ready for a lift off series of this juvy Peregrine., 8 frames of the whole sequence, and I posted 5 in here...

    The mist is keeping us photogs nervous, and the equipment was getting wet!, with no rain gear in the bag just yet. take good care, and thanks for looking.

    I like the whole series. Too bad he wasn't looking toward you rather than away, I guess he didn't get the memo! It is pretty much perfect.

    I'm always amazed at images with these guys on the move......so fast. Beautiful colors and exposure.....and what a BG. You always wish for the right angle of the head but sheesh.......even without....it's an impressive image. Well done.

    Not an easy capture. The thing that bothers me the most is that the bird is dead centered.

    I had to think hard why the bird was here, till I realized it was the band :)
