    This is an older image I would be interested in opinion and advice about.

    I cropped it a number of ways from the original landscape before settling on this (which is about 40% of the original. I felt that this offered a lot of pixels on the subject and wasn't too crowded.

    Taken off North Carolina in May/2004, Canon 10d, 100-400, f/8, 1/1250sec, ISO400, handheld.

    "Chum" is often used to attract pelagic species and probably was here. It is usually a mixture of popcorn and fish remains.

    I'm a big fan of seabirds and this is a very nice image. I would give it a bit more space at the bottom and a tiny amount of CW rotation.

    Fully agree with Axel I like the banking pose and slight head turn Might want to try for a in camera vertical next time if they repeat the behavior !!! Fun tracking them !!!

    Beautiful image but I prefer a less tight crop to give some space at front for the bird to fly into.
