    Great moment captured. I like the wing position and BG. The whites look a bit gray and I would try to lighten the underwings. Keep them coming!

    Nice timing and good action in this image Rick . I agree with Axel about the whites and using a little S/H to lighten up the underwing of the osprey. Lovely environmental image and I will look forward to your future posts.

    I like the wide framing and the stick of course.

    There are two major problems here, one noted, one not. First off the image is way too dark and is lacking in contrast. At ISO 200, 1/2000 sec. at f/8 on a less than a sunny day underxposure would be expected. How did you determine the EXP???

    Two: the bird's head is turned away from you so the eye (which is not at all sharp) is in shadow as is the face.

    I ligthened the image, added some contrast, blackened the mid-tones and the blacks, and did a bit of work on the face and the eye (without many pixels to work with).

    I also removed the blue cast...
