The iso was set to 500 so is a little noisy, Used my new 300 f4 was not sure about the crop and composition, we are seeing about 1/4 of the image.

I like the crop and composition. If anything, I might add some room to the left. I like the open beak, perhaps could use a bit more contrast, at least on the work monitor. I like the perch.

    Hi Alberto!

I think you did really well with the lighting conditions (from the left?) Looks nice and sharp here. I love the open beak with good head position, and the raised foot. Framing looks fine (maybe need a little more room for the toes). Beautiful green background that complements the red/orange bill. Maybe try reducing the noise. Too bad the perch was pruned or torn right in front. Really nice image!

Excellent critiques by Brian andCarole. The re-post is a bit too SAT for me but the orig definitely needs a contrast boost. My biggest problem is a small one: the need for a bit more room for the toes.

Where is the Long Key Rookery? Do you need a boat? Nice juvie BTW.

    Good composition and capture Albert,
You need to tone down the noise in the background and agree with the rest about more room on the bottom for the virtual feet...

Is this a tri-colored Heron? IAC, it is beautiful and will be even better with the suggestions for improvement. Thanks for posting this one, Alberto.

Thank you for all the C&C is very helpful.
This image was taken ln Long Key park in Broward county, across the street from Flamingo Gardens. In this place there are many egrets and herons etc, nesting.
This is a review of the image trying to follow the suggestions. Two pictures were superimposed to include the toes.

Love the work that you did with the toes but the last re-post is much too dark...
