Ditto Grace's comment above. Any half way decent image of these guys is an a accomplishment on Machias Seal Island. I do like the other portrait style you did better, but this one still is good. Just wish for a bit more detail around the eye, but still OK.
Great work, Axel. At first glance (while rushing) I thought, "needs more room at the top and less at the bottom"... but after taking a second, I really like the composition that you've created. It just feels good. :) Excellent work with the exposure and capturing so much detail. Have a feeling that viewing this at a larger size would show off the eye much better. Love the background!
Wel done in tough light. A wonderful pose and COMP. Lightening the iris is an option; their irises are buffy gold in soft light.

Wow this is a real beauty for all the reasons mentioned above Axel. Really love the composition of this capture. Congratulations Axel on a beautiful image !!!
A very nice example of a god job on a difficult to expose subject. You did it very well Axel. The pose of the bird is majestic and love the soft and creamy background. the only thing I do not like so much is the light colored rock. I would prefer a darker perch.
