    A Willet displaying in flight last Saturday to another who had entered the vicinity of it's hatched chicks.

    Nikon D30, 500 AFS~ VR, ISO 640, f 6.3, through the fog / haze.

    Great display and wing position Jim! Eye contact and sharpness are first rate. The whites on the tail feathers look a little hot, and I might crop a little off the top and bottom. Thanks for posting!

    I like the calling pose and eye contact. The whites don't look overexposed on my monitor but I would tone them down a bit.

    Prettu darned cool; head angle perfect and wing position very good to excellent. EXP and COMP right on. Way to go.

    Harsh light but fantastic job. Love the action represented by the open bill of the bird, I almost can hear the bird´s call
