Availability: EF 25 II Extension tube ??????

Is the Canon EF 25 II extension tube normally hard to find??

No one seems to have them available. I registered with B&H to notify when available quite some time ago. Amazon states they do not known when or if they will be available.

Do you have to have the Canon brand? I use the Kenko set (12mm, 20mm, 36mm) for Canon and they work fine. After all, they're just hollow tubes with pass-through contacts.

Do the Kenko tubes have the same number of pin contacts as the Canon brand?? Seems like I read the Kenko tubes do not support auto focus. I may be wrong.

yes, kenko tubes provide AF and are just as effective in passing light through air as canon's 25mm. I have the Kenko set and the Canon 25mm.

Ask and ye shall receive... Did you see the Canon 12mm & 25mm ext tubes for sale in the Buy & Sell section? For $150, I'd still take the 3 piece Kenko set but it depends on how important it is to have genuine Canon air in the tubes. LOL
