hi joan, your owl looks great!! exposure is good and the compo looks good, too. the only distracting element to me is the grass growing out of the owl's head!! maybe the owl could be lightened a bit too. you gotta love the eyes!!
you are right. have some images without the grass coming directly out of his head. always something!
Hi Joan,
I like your composition, image and exposure. You have sharp details and razor sharp eyes. No nits from me, Mr. Harold took care of them...:D
Nice composition Joan, but have to agree with mr. H regarding the grass.
Regards,
Love those eyes - made a few quick and dirty changes.
Lightened bird a bit - quickly got rid of offending grasses - sharpened the eye and added some saturation.
Also tried a vertical crop as the BG and FG IMHO were not that great. (Would also probably get rid of the tall plant on the right)
Hi Joan, sweet bird - like Lance's repost a lot - I think the crop is much better.
Joan good image, improved on Lance repost. Agree with previous comments.
Agree -like the vertical. have some other photos of the owl. will try to get rid of any annoying grass and redo for myself. maybe post one in a while. after I learn how to brighten the eyes! thanks for all the helpful comments
