    This is from last winter. Jasper and I were dealing with some very cooperative waders. Laying in the surf one purple sandpiper came close enough for some shots. Photographed in the last light of day.

    I like this a lot, Krijn. Great angle, light, pose, details, use of DOF and BG. The little pebbles add to it. The only thing I would suggest is a bit NR on the BG and OOF foreground. Whenever I see purple sandpipers here, the only run around on rocks.

    Another great shot of this species. I would wish for a touch less room on the left and a touch more on the right.

    Stunning, and yes, a bit of noise reduction will improve an already beautiful image :)
