This image was taken in early evening, a few seconds before the one I posted yesterday, as my kayak glided slowly toward the loons. I used foot pedals to steer with the rudder, thus leaving both hands free for the camera. The chicks are 4 days old. 20D, 300 f/4, 1/1000, f/5.6, ISO 200. The right side is the frame edge. Comments are welcome.
