    These birds walk up close and take a nibble if not watched closely. Local attraction.
    Canon 40D, 1/800, f/5.6
    70-200 f/4L, ISO 400, Spot Metering
    The viewfinder is my guidance.

    Hmmm, not sure what to say about this one. There are a few hot spots and the background is rather overpowering. I like the lines and curves of the bird. I think I might try an even tighter crop (I might not like it but I would try it). Overall I like the whimsy.

    I can't seem to get a handle on this one either. The BG is a bit busy and the image seems overall too bright. You might try adjusting the black point darker. My eye keep looking for the entire curve of the neck.

    I think this one is like the last one.......I just can't quite get the right composition. I think it's again because part of the curve in the neck is missing. I'd definitely include a little space all around to give you room to pick the right composition.

    Hi, Bill! Agree that this is quite bright and colorful for sure, but I don't mind that. Agree with others' comments about the hot spots and neck curve. Very nice sharp head, though!
