Love the eye in this one Akos; I've never seen a blue-eyed raven! Sharpness is good, and you've got nice detail in the blacks. I think the photo looks a little flashed; normal fill flash is about -1 2/3 to -2. I would crop a little off the left, and might remove the 3 white spots. Thanks for posting!
Killer eye and I love the framing. This is about the first image of a glossy black bird with flash that I have ever liked... Way to go.

That is one attractive eye with the hint of blue in it. That and the great detail in the shiny black feathers makes this a real interesting photograph. Thanks for sharing it!
Thank you for the kind comments. In fact, I was at a level just below the bird on a cliff (about half to one meter below on a ledge) I have captured many images of it and its mate preening each other at eye level, but for some reason (perhaps the eye and imposing look) I liked this of the portraits. I think he also tilted his head a little at this moment. :( Plenty of more opportunities going forward.
