    This is at Lake Powell in Arizona very early on an April morning. As we were waiting for the best sunrise light, I decided the silhouette of the photographers in varying stages of readiness and different points of view told the best story.

    Canon 40D; ADep; f5.6; Eval +2/3; ISO 200; 24-105L @67mm

    Hi Katie, I love this as presented but maybe it would also work as a pano, with a little off the top and bottom - even moodier!

    Thank you all, this is one my favorite images. Artie, thanks for the repost, your take is bold and dramatic which is not something I usually do so I appreciate a different perspective.

    What a wonderful image. I love the lighted silhouettes but Arties dramatic silhouette just sealed the deal.
