    Saw this guy over at my local birding spot. He was about 40 feet up in a tree but luckily there was a hill nearby that I got up on to get a level shot.

    Comments encouraged!!

    Welcome, Kyle! Very nice angle and details. The BG is a bit busy but there is not much you could have done about it. Since you didn't use fill flash you could try S/H to get more details in the shadows. It might also work as vertical crop.

    I have photoshop 7...what can I use on there to get more detail out of the shadows? I don't have Shadows and Highlights.

    Then you could experiment with curves, it's pretty much the same.
