This was taken of a little Juvie stilt yesterday. There were four but are down to three now. I am amazed these little ones survive but they do have very vigilent parents who protect them day and night.

Judy Lynn. I love this...so pretty with the little guy and the nice background framing him. There is a real sense of vulnerability about the chick, I think it's his pose. Very nice.

Great image, I like the setting, details and mood. The position of the feet underlines the vulnerability. Thanks for sharing!

Judy, what a treat! There is one dime-sized blob of white just above and to the left of the chic that I find a tiny bit distracting. The rest of the image - to die for!

This image has a high cuteness factor, Judy. Love the pose and the light. I agree with Julie about the white blob and maybe the yellow flower just above the bird's head.

Thanks for the great suggestions Julie and Steve. I was so into the little Juvie that I was oblivious to the little white spot and the yellow flower above the head.

what a sweet image Judy Lynn....the thumbnail drew me in on this one.
The "fresh" colors of green/yellow make an awesome bg in that light

This image is now "to die for"
Thanks for sharing such a lovely image.
Everything here works, the bg, the sharp focus on the bird, the feet position, the cute factor. Just everything!
    Love it!
