While out for a walk a couple of years ago, I saw this boy riding his bike up on the hill. The full frame has more ground and more trees framing each side of the image. I don't like the boy being so centered, but I like the trees framing him. What do you think?
Great backlight and the image tells a nice story. When getting down to smaller apertures, you will start seeing more and more of the dust spots on the sensor. The clean up should be very easy in PS. Maybe try pushing the color gradient??
Hi Lisa, Love the guy on the bike and the SILH effect. Strange that the right hand tree is so out of focus at f/14. It must have been a lot closer to you than the tree to our left. Minimalist taht I am, I could do without the mailbox...
Are you still photographing???

Art,
Oh no!! you asked her a direct question!!! lol. She prob won't answer. (hey, she comes by it naturally---when I was at your presentation I didn't speak to you either. Not even when I was at your table and we happened to stand next to each other. lol)
I hope you don't mind if I answer for her. Perhaps that will get her upset enough to get her to answer. Yes, she is still photographing. In fact she has made a job for herself the past several years photographing skydivers. She is currently trying to decide between two different drop zones who want her. Lots of decisions for someone who still isn't 20. She doesn't post here often, partly due to her putting in very long days trying to earn money for college. And she still loves photography! That and her birds have impacted her life unbelievably!
