Great capture of a very pretty flower Gus. Seems a little bit over saturated, specially the yellows and orange.
    Great composition.

    Hi Gus,

Lovely capture!! Would like to see the purple flower parts a little more to the left. Love the detail and texture:)

    Cheers,

Hi Gus, for me the colours are just right and I think that I like the purple bits where they are - would perhaps like more canvas on top??

Hi Gus - nicely done. Love the colours and the contrast between them.

Personaly the OOF purple area's are distracting.

    :)

love the compo and the colors in this one, gus!! got a question for you....why wouldnt you use more dof in this one since there is no bg? just curious. which leads me to another thought. i wonder what this one would look like with lots of dof and the orton treatment!! just a couple of thoughts....i love the way the stamen look like the devil's pitchfork!!!

Gus, I agree about the purple stamen. Having the top half in focus and the bottom half OOF is a bit distracting. I definitely would have cranked up the aperture to f11 or more and then blurred out any section you didn't want in focus. Those purple stamen with the red/yellow flower are amazing!!!
