Taken this past Saturday at Flamingo Gardens with Alberto, we were both chasing the same iguana.

    Nikon D
    Sigma -150-500mm
    Focal length 500mm
    Shutter speed: 1/250 sec
    Aperture: 6.3
    Exposure mode: Manual
    Exposure compensation: -2 1/3
    Flash: Off
    Metering mode: Multi-segment
    ISO: 200

C&C are most welcome and appreciated.

    Hi Oscar,
I like the composition. I would have liked to have seen the head turned a bit more towards you. I modified your image slightly. I increased the contrast, increased saturation and sprinkled a little bit of sharpening...hope you like...also lightened the background just a tad...

These things surely have a lot of detail! Looks good, Oscar, I like the black background and I think the eye could use a little "pop."

nice details! I like the lightening in the repost so that you can see each of the scales on the foot as well as you can see those on the upper body and head. Do you have room to rotate the pic just a bit ccw so it doesn't look like it is hanging on for dear life so it won't slip downhill?

I really like this picture. If I may ask a question, why did you use - 2 1/3 exposure compensation? Just wondering why you picked that particular number. Thanks.

Excellent Oscar - great detail and sharp as a tack, Ditto the little more head turn.

Ditto the eye needs to pop - needs lighting /hue/saturation and sharpening

    :)

This was taken at about 11:00am, and the light was really harsh, also just below the iguana was a pond that was reflecting light. I do like the re post by Gus were he lightens up the image.
