    What a great species to restart photography with. Perfect pose, with nice eye contact. Great details, but looks a tad bright on my screen, but then I'm on my MBP ...
    If anything, I wish the female in the BG either wasn't there, or wasn't obfuscated.

    Nice, welcome back to the hobby - and nice to see you here as well! Good maximum-extension wing flap you got here, and perfect head angle. I agree the extra duck is unfortunate, but good news is this looks like a productive spot for Wood Ducks for you.
