Dottie and I went to Circle B Bar Reserve early Saturday morning. Not many opportunities for photography, but we did have a nice walk. I found this Tri-colored Heron perched on a ugly square wooden post at the edge of a small pond. I was fortunate that the bird was quite tame allowing me to get close. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Compositiona nd light look good, the colours tones and details are equally so. The eye is well focused asi is the bill - nothing to dislike everything to like for me!
I kinda wish yo had gotten closer here, but I do like the view of the shaggy neck. Good light and colours. Sharp enough. A 2-degree turn more our way would have been great. Such beautiful herons these tricolors!
