    Hi...

    It is a big chance that you think the bird is to small in this big picture.. But I like the structure on the sky and the fine colors of this yellowhammer makes nice contrast....

    But be honest.. What do YOU think....

    I like the idea and the sky looks great. I wish for a higher angle and more eye contact. The bird looks a bit dark. Instead of using -0.33 EC you should have dialed in positive exposure compensation +0.66 or so. Keep them coming!

    To be honest the bird is just way too small in the frame. If there was a strong element of habitat it could be passable - but sky and clouds are just not enough. Not the best perch either, and the bird is looking away. Sorry, but you wanted honest right? :-)

    It is good to experiment and see what works and what doesn't. Continue doing so and you may just find some gems coming out of your camera!!

    Here is honest: This does not work at all for me. The bird is too small and too dark and the pattern of the branch is uninteresting...
