This is one from Friday at the set up. It was a dull day with some rain blowing through. I did remove a couple of spots of raindrops, as I thought they never added to the image. These birds are very erratic in flight, and although similar to Chickadees, the Coal Tit is slightly smaller. And, for the first time I pushed my ISO further than ever before(thanks for pushing me Steve )... Gimbal Head. ACR and PS.

Excellent for any ISO and I loved the blurred primaries. I would not mind a bit more of a crop from the upper and lower left nor would I mind the face a bit brighter. You gotta love mirrorless.

Clean and sharp great pose, but for the image is a little flat, I feel it needs a little pop.

    Hi Will,

That's a hard one to nail! Nice and clean and sharp albeit as Jon says, a little flat.

I'm wondering if it may have been possible to feather the sharpening so the edges on those moving feathers/wings were a little more soft.

    Cool shot!

Hi Will.... a super capture of this Tit .
    Love the wing pose .
Image appears a bit too flat in tone and specially color , IMHO.
What are the horizontal lines in the front wing ???!!!

Hi Will, you see, you can do it and the camera is still in one piece, I trust this will give you greater confidence?

Overall I like it, I think you could have a better crop, don't like the lines through the wings, a bit more pop, irrespective if it was shot in flat light, you are the artist.
