    This is the same bird as my previous Red Grouse image. As requested, the whole bird in the frame this time I managed to move back, away from the bird, hoping he would show more. It worked, I waited quite a while, and the sun had risen higher, but at least you get a view of the legs, which rarely happens. HH. Almost FF. ACR and PS

    Well William not much for me to say. I just love your grouse photos. This one is another killer shot. Details are nice and those breast feathers the details are fantastic, and nice to see the legs. I'm assuming it is a rock he is standing on does the heather grow over the rock? TFS

    Quite beautiful! Everything works well together. I would only have preferred more room for the composition - feels a tad tight. Nicely done!

    Hey Will ... a really lovely and perfectly created /edited image !!! Very well done all around ...

    I prefer this version over the tighter one posted before .... but both are stunning pictures .
