    Nikon 500mm PF, camera and lens supported by a Oben carbon fiber monopod with a Wimberly MonoGimbal head
    1/1250 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV +1 ISO 3200 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 500mm (750mm 35mm Equivalent)
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic
    Cropped slightly for composition and presentation

    Another nice portrait image Joe! I like the pose and you decision to either shot or crop as vertical to show the long bill. Nicely done

    Hi Joe a nice side profile portrait of the pelican , head turn does help to make it look good .
    Soft light helped with the tones and contrast ... love the color intensity as a contrast to the rest of the frame.
    Might try to get more from the whites .... to make maybe more details visible ??!!!
