We must have had several generations of Blue tits hatch, I was quite taken by the colours of the plumage.

Hi Jon, really like the image. As you mentioned the colors on the bird are nice, the perch is interesting with the lichens, pure background. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Jon .... very nice frame of this lovely tit species !!!
The perch might be a bit dominating by its size and the very attractive structure .... but I still like it as presented .
Nice colorful frame ... to get more attention to the Tit I would give it more tonal depth .

Nice job on all counts and TFS Andreas

    Hello Jon,

Colourful little chap and I am surprised at the size of its feet - quite large in relation to the body!

Good pose and HA from the subject. BG looks good, perch a tad overwhelming but the lichen and moss make it interesting.

Overall a lovely capture and I enjoyed viewing. All I can think of suggesting is a tad more definition on the bird's face and beak, if possible.

    Warmest regards,

Exceedingly lovely. The colors and the bird are so, so sweet. I believe that a healthy crop from the top left would improve this.

Hi Jon, I quite like it being side on, but going for something more 'sympathetic' for the perch ie Bramble (with some berries even?) may have been better, just find it a bit too chunky. However, I just can't see why you have this obsession with being so close to the trim at the foot, is this because of the cameras format???

Thanks for your comments everyone, I appreciate the perch was a little on the large side for this species, it was really intended for when the Woodpecker arrived, as an overall picture though I felt it was quite appealing. I also got an image of a Willow warbler on the perch but I felt it looked a little too diminutive in view of its comparatively bland plumage.
The crop factor doesn't really concern me - maybe a tad more at the base would have been good.
