Shot this Spotted sandpiper from my floating blind in Nd. I think it is a first year juvenile bird. Processed with Dpp 4, Topaz, Photoshop. Comments and critiques appreciated.

    Hi Kevin ...
    very nice overall

Love the warm color palette , nice fine details in the plumage and a good use of the tonal range . Pleasing soft BG ....
The rock might be just a wee bit large , but the bird was there ... so no problem .
A bit more DOF would have been nice ... you had lots of ISO room to play with .

    Nice work Kevin

Juvenile Spotted Sandpiper indeed. The raised foot adds interest, and nice to see a clean boulder (ours are almost all littered with goose and duck waste). I wasn't sold on the comp at first, but looking at it longer I've grown to like it as is.

Pleasing image, colours, pose, details composition look good. A little more DOF would have been good.
