    Default Ground Squirrel VI

    Hi folks ...
just a quick one from Vienna back in may this year .
This image was taken in a fenced area ( for humans ) .... Public natural swimming pool . Had to pay entrance fee to get in ... but was not there for swimming , just wanted to shoot the Squirrels in the flowers

    Canon EOS R3
    EF 200 - 400 IS L at 560 mm
    HH

    F 7,1 ; Iso 1000 ; 1/2500 sec

Processed with Capture One and PSCC 2023 ; full frame ; no trickery at all . Not entirely happy with the comp .... but do not want to add canvas and recompose the shot . Went for a more warmer overall presentation

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous postings , critique is more than welcome .

    Cheers Andreas

    Hello Andreas!

It's super cute, this little squirrel. Worth the entrance fee. Love the flowers and pose is awesome ( as if plucking those bits and saying 'loves me, loves me not' )

Do understand how you feel about the composition, but it's not bad as is - yes you can add canvas but if you take from the left you lose the pretty flowers.

Sharp with good details, the warmth brings about a happy mood. So for me as good as it gets with no nits.

This must have been fun, did you wear your swimming shorts to blend in with the swimmers ?

Thank you for sharing, and I hope you have a great rest of the week,

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Looks great to me pleasing colours and a natural seeing, looks entirely credible, I like it.

LOL .... Gabriela , actually only few folks went swimming as it was in early may and relatively cool spring time . So it was no option for me
