    Another high key shot from the same morning as the White-faced Heron shot.
    The swans were feeding on the weed on the bottom doing full tail up dives so feathers were all wet.

    Hi Colin ... I somehow like the concept with the high key .
    As presented I think the IQ has suffered , maybe down to the slow SS and the shadow lifting as this was resulting in noise in the darker tones .
    Maybe another try with more gentle approach of tones .

    I love the imagination and concept, but the IQ just isn't there; the bird isn't sharp and the feather details have been muddied by noise. It's a bummer because the thrown wings and splayed primaries would be gorgeous under different capture circumstances.

    Thanks for your thoughts. Typo Andreas, SS was 1/3200.
    Disappointing, I thought the wet feathers might have contributed to loss of sharpness.
    The location is only 5 min from home so will have another go.

    Colin a great try, definitely would give it another try. I'm a sucker for high key love the overall concept. Still a captivating photo. TFS
