    Male, Brown-hooded Kingfisher (Halcyon albiventris).
    Taken whilst inside a Hippo hide on the Luangwa River.

    Pretty bird, good sharpness, and nice BG. Light looks a little harsh. The feathers on the breast could be toned down, and I might crop a little from both the right and left. Thanks for posting!

    Hi Doug

    Resubmitted image here, have tried Color Control Point in NX capture with reduced contrast on chest with minimal
    success, any other solution you could recommend?

    Great find, details and BG. The chest plumage and part of the perch still look overexposed. If the original is RAW you should be able to fix this by reducing the exposure and/or recovery highlights.

    Very nice find and I like the repost . As mentioned the lighting was a bit harsh but that can be toned done as Axel mentioned. Many thanks for sharing.
