Pose composition colours - very good, IQ looks good noise free. I have raised this issue before but the image looks even better when viewed in PSCC.

Thank you Jon , for your comment .
Not sure what you mean by issue , is just a general fact that images look better in PS .

Hi Andreas, a really beautiful bird. I think you have captured the bird at its best. Nice soft light, post-processing brings out the best in the bird and background. Thank you for sharing.

    Andreas:

I agree with Jon and Joe. Lovely soft light, well exposed, good pose, shooting angle, processing.
Bit surprised by the shutter speed chosen for a swimming bird. I might have traded shutter speed for lower ISO, but can't argue with your result.

    Cheers

Thanks Joe and Randy for your comments , much appreciated .

@ Randy ... easy to explain , I was shooting HH and holding the rig ( 1000 mm ) at the lens foot to get a low angle to avoid any blurry images if possible . And you might know that I am not afraid of high iso .... I rather have a sharp image than a softer with lower noise level .

Very nice Andreas...all looking good here. Good detail from bill to tail. I really like the pose and the POV, on what looks like peaceful surroundings.

Just superb Andreas. The level of texture and color you portrayed here is just awesome amigo.

Your angle is good and the pose is very intimate.

A real treat that I will come back to. TFS!

Great bird, and you have some wonderful details to show off its regal plumage. I'd personally prefer some more room for the composition. Nice to have a spot for no recreation, must b nice and quiet there
